Most probably, when you get a panic attack, you'll start hyperventilating. This is frightening but not dangerous.
When you feel it starting, use 2 tricks to stop it:
1) Talk. This will stop you from breathing too quickly. Hyperventilation is breathing out too much CO2 and gets short of it. You cannot breathe out and speak at the same time so... talking is a trick to prevent hyperventilation.
2) Concentrate on your breathing and even if you feel the need to accelerate your breathing DO NOT ALLOW THIS. Concentrate on breathing calmly and slowly.
If you can't prevent it and it kicks in, use a plastic bag (keep one in your hand bag) and breathe into it. You will inhalate the CO2 rich air from the bag and this will solve the matter. Plus, the bag makes breathing difficult which will slow down your breath.
The panic attacks themselves, of course, if you can't overcome them you may need to seek some help. It will be worth it.

It depends on the individual, stimuli and biochemical factors that make for a very diverse range of symptoms. Symptoms can range from abdominal pain or dizziness to acute loss of consciousness. From what you've stated, you appear to have a low threshold for anxiety attacks and numerous triggers, but resulting in minor symptoms. Psychotherapy is extremely effective in helping to control such episodes- especially cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or Panic-Focused Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (PFPP). Hypnotherapy is also known to work for some individuals with similar incidents.
I don't think they're dangerous but I know that they really feel like they are. If you're actually fainting from them, that's a different story. You should see a physician and get some anti-anxiety medication if it's that bad.
I think it is pretty dangerous. I had once and I was so scared I'm trying not to get anxious for anything. Maybe a psycologist could help you cure this.
