Is it possible to survive on such little sleep?
I've got to go on a 30 minute car journey, and do basketball practise.
Stupid question maybe- but will I be ok? I won't collapse will I?
Has anyone else done it?
There are a few things in life that are impossible and surviving on 3.5hr sleep is a gift when all you got is 2mins to shut your eyes before everything turns to shit. When all you have is 2mins its like you've slept for hours, that 2mins of sleep can keep you going for hours. So basically, 3.5/4hrs is equivalent to days. So, can you survive on it? Without a doubt.
Have I? I've survived on 2mins when I had to
Will you collapse? Certainly not
Do I advise it? No, I do not. If you have the luxury of sleeping longer then do it, don't rob yourself of that precious time unless you really have to
I have stayed awake for over 35 hours straight before you should be okay. Wouldn't recommended making it a habit it would reduce your lifespan you need beauty sleep to grow and to reduce stress. Personally caffeine and being sleep deprived caused me extreme chest pains so be careful what you drink and do when overly tired. Ginseng helps a lot with energy levels.
I should be able to squeeze in a 3 hour nap during the day- do you think that'll help?
Just focus on what needs to be done in this case your basketball practice. If you are driving crank up the music and put the windows down it helps you stay awake/wake up I used to work night shifts. Jumping jacks and push-ups help wake you up too. Know your limits I have pushed mine a little to far before. I go crazy exercising my bpm was like 198 bpm was like heart attack worthy. You should be okay man
i used to go to sleep at 7.00 am and wake up at 7.30 and go to school then come home and i would go to sleep at like 4am and wouldn't feel tired or anything, i could do that for weeks until i started not sleeping at all. I would maybe skip basketball practice because you won't be doing your best and if you're a person who normally gets the full hours of sleep it make make your drowsy and stuff but if you still go, use the car ride to sleep and just keep drinking so you dont pass out.
You should be fine, as long as you don't do it too much. You need your beauty sleep! Lol

I've gotten only a hours worth of sleep before maybe less even and I managed to go through a whole day of school and then straight to birthday celebration until around 10 PM. It's possible but it will seriously suck bad, like when you can just probably close your eyes a bit but don't fall asleep. I find that to help me out a couple times.
Yes you will be absolutely fine. Set an alarm have someone check on you to wake you up and if you want you can have a coffee. I've done it more times than out can imagine in the past. You'll be fine

Tale a 5 hour energy. Go hard early so maybe ur coach thinks ur eager to get better and maybe u could slack off towards the end
You will be okay, although you could try drinking coffee, also you should set multiple alarms.
