If you're doing it as part of a way to eat healthier, than you should only give it up if you can substitute it for a healthy treat that you find equally satisfying... otherwise, you may find it incredibly difficult to have faith in your new eating habits... and it'd be harder to reach your nutritional goals.
It's all about motivation.

not really you will be healthier for it and are probably going to live longer because there is a lot of crap in junkfood. But its ok to like have it every once in a blue moon because everyone has cravings and completely restricting yourself from something usually leads to people crashing sometimes and binging which is no bueno.
Yes it's prob best idea of your life. wonder why your so lathargic and drained of energy all the time? Look up what's in fast food, most of it isn't even food, it's mostly fillers so they can make moneytry eating fresh organic meals for two weeks and I guarantee you'll not only feel a huge difference but your skin will be clearer, you'll have more energy, just a better feeling of self worth, oh and drink a lot of water and juice, try and stay away from energy drinks and soda.:)
The only cons to giving up junk food are:
1) cost [ junk food is very cheap; healthier food costs more overall ]
2) the taste of it (junk food tastes unnaturally good... because it's taste is artificially boosted with chemicals and additives )

If ur budget can handle the extra cost, and you can "control your tongue" by not giving in to eating junk food all the time... then do it!

No it's not especially if you are looking to lose weight. I had to give it up too and rarely eat it now. Your body will start feeling better too once your body adjusts to not having junk food.
Replacing all sort of junk food with healthy food isn't a bad idea at all.. Will get you fit, more healthy of course which is acutally why people should do it in the first place.. and then. looks etc etc
