Preferably non track and cross country.
Any suggestions?
Saucony. But they are kind of hard to find. I know Big 5 on the west coast had them. Dicks also has a few sometimes, but very little selection. You might have to ask in specialty stores.

I've been wearing them for over 20 years. I never really liked the looks much, but they are well made and last forever. They have shoes for casual to high end competition. My room mate used to wear them for the Ironman.
I am using the Nike Lunarglide 5s now, they are a nice running shoe and I use Nike+ with my ipod to track my runs and the shoe has a spot for the sensor which is nice. I have used Asics GT 2070's I beleive, but Asics are narrow and I wider feet so after like 200 miles on them my little toe blows through the side, I haven't had that issue with the Nike shoes they seem to be holding up good. I'm a fan of Nike running shoes for sure.
I like using asics for running and working out but that's just me :)

I've used saucony running shoes for years and loved them. I once bought a pair of Nike but saucony is much better for me.
