What to expect at the gyno?

I'm going next wednesdat to have a bartholin cyst surgically removed because he said if we lanced, it would be more likely to come back in the next few weeks. What should i expect? He said since the incision is relatively small i will need five stitches. How much pain am i going to be in? i'm a college student and i have classes to be in... anyone has this done? can you share your experience please? i'm nervous.

It's removing a cyst that involves surgery. How fast you heal depends on you. No one can tell you exactly how you'll feel bc everyone's tolerances and healing process are different. so just listen to the doctor, take your antibiotics, keep the wound clean and change your bandages.

Have you ever had intercourse? Reason being is that you may still have a hymen, and it may be penetrated.

no. and a bartholin cyst is on the outer labia. so there would be nothing internal going on
