I'm a very hygienic guy but I can't get rid of my blackheads?

So I'm a hygienic guy, I shower once a day, wash my face in the morning and in the evening. Brush my teeth twice a day etc.
I can honestly say I take good care of myself. On my nose I have blackheads that I just can't seem to get rid off, they are very ugly and I just want them gone. I've tried strips (you make them wet, put them on your nose and pull them off) but they didn't really work that great.

Do any of you have tips how to get rid of them or how to prevent them? I haven't tried a beauty salon yet but I'm seriously considering going to one. The biggest problem might not even be removing them but making sure they don't come back..

You need a good steam bath. Like a sauna. If you can't afford one, try the hot towel method. Where you soak a towel in hot water, as hot as you can stand it and place it over the affected area. The idea is to force open the facial pores. Every where you have a black head, that's a pore which has become clogged with sebum and dirt.
After the towel has cooled down enough to be just... warm, take it off and use a face scrub with abrasion properties. You want to do this part very gently and lightly. When you're finished cleaning, use cold water to rinse off the face. The cold water will close the pores and prevent the dirt from entering again.

A couple of these treatments should suffice.

I have the same problem where I can't get rid of my blackheads. It kills me because I'm very self conscious about them. I've been using a face scrub in the shower (steam opens up pores) but so far nothing has changed.

Exfoliate. When mine get really bad I'll use some sort of cleanser in the shower or otherwise steamy place... then stick my face in ice water haha.

Dumb but it works.
