I am 5"1 and about 110lbs however because I am so short I look a little bigger than that, my mom has tried encouraging me to lose weight and have a pretty healthy lifestyle the only thing is I think I'm an emotional eater because whenever I'm sad (which is about 1/2 the time) I eat a lot of unhealthy foods and then I just feel horrible about myself. All of my friends are tall and thin and I know I can't change my height but how can I lose weight when I'm and emotional stress eater?
Go work out when you feel like eating ebcause you;re sad. Working out releases chemicals in your brain that will make you feel much better. So not only is working out good for losing weight and toning your body but also great for mental problems.
So get going to the gym!

When you feel sad, write down your emotions in a diary or talk to a friend about it. Confront the problem that causes sadness, stress or anger, try to resolve it. Go out, listen to music, do something else to feel better.
