I actually stopped eating bread and pasta and any bad starch... A great substitution for bread are lettuce wraps, or very low carb flat bread wraps. It's a brand called flat bread. They are great and healthy for you, mutigrain. For mashed potatoes , which I used to love, I'd cook mashed cauliflower, or mashed butternut squash... Pasta, I eat shirataki noodles found in the Asian section of markets. Its usually room temperature or refrigerator section in a plastic bag set in water. Its a tofu noodle. They are amazing for pasta alternative. If you wanna eat a spaghetti meal you can also use spaghetti squash and place it on a plate with some meat sauce and you're good to go. :) I lost 52 pounds in 6 months eating this way. Good luck! :) and take it all one day at a time. Don't think of how far you have left, just take it day by day. Don't give up!

I can see you live in America, and I've heard americans eat a lot of white bread. bread isn't necessarily the problem, but white bread is neither filling nor nutritious. in Denmark it is very common to eat open-faced sandwiches consisting of rye bread and some topping - you can put avocado or salmon or eggs or even apples on it and it tastes awesome! rye bread is very high in fiber and it is very filling and healthy, and if the topping you put on is also healthy it is a perfect lunch dish :-)

Cutting bread isn't going to make you lose weight. There are many diets that allegedly work, low-carb being one of them. However that would also include limiting foods like potatoes, rice, pasta. What I personally think works the best is clean eating and a calorie deficit. That means no processed foods, low sugar, complex carbs and a lot of protein. On average, I burn around 1800 kcal a day, so I eat around 1450 if I want o lose weight. Working out is important as well. Do cardio and weight training. If you build up muscle your body will need to feed it with the food you eat, so it won't be stored as fat tissue.
Anyway, that was my rant about weight loss, but back to your question XD Rice cakes can substitute bread, it sucks but it's possible. You can use polenta instead of flour.im not a huge bread fan but on the odd occasion when I do I eat rye bread, the one I get is delicious and gluten free.
avoiding pasta, rice and potato is also a great way to go.. as an alternative for these things i'll cook cauliflower as normal then mash it up (like you would mash potatoes) it yummy.
avoid sodas and alcohol. Do some regular exercises like cardio
good luck! :)Dude, how many accounts have you been through?
