Is it bad that I have dreams and my ex appear in them sometimes?

So my ex and I dated for 3 years, and it was a bad breakup, because she cheated on me, but it has been 8 months since then and I have no feelings for her anymore. She is currently dating who she cheated on me with, and I have seen since other women as well. I can honestly say that I don't give a rats ass what she does haha.

It's weird though. I never used to get these dreams during recovery, but ever since I have started seeing other women, which has been great and very fun, I have been having dreams and my ex is in them.

Like last night I had one and it was a birthday party of her's. Some of my family was there and all of her's were there too since it was at her house. I saw her once in the dream and the rest of it was weird.

I do not understand why I keep having dreams at night with her in them when I could never get back together with her, nor do I have any feelings for her anymore. Any suggestions?

Well, I don't think that's "bad." You were together for a long time and even though she wronged you, she was in your life for quite a while. I don't think dreams hold much meaning, it's just your subconscious brain activity. Maybe seeing new women has simply made you think of your ex which caused your dreams. It doesn't mean you still have feelings for her or want to be with her though. You can't control what you dream. I don't think you should worry about it too much, the dreams should stop eventually.
