There's a lot of bad advice on the internet about losing weight and eating healthily. Diet pills don't work because they're a con, if they've done nothing be glad they've done you no harm. You should be looking for a "balanced diet", non of these faddish extreme trend diets. Caloric deficit works for losing weight but do it gradually!

You should check your Thyroid hormones. Maybe there just off balance. One of the things thyroid controls is your metabolist. If they are too low. them maybe your metabolist is slowed down too.
Try just eating healthier. If you want it to be sustainable then slowly change your habits. Maybe for one or two weeks aim to get in all your vegetables. Then work on your vegetables. You could even work on the first week of just drinking your daily amount of water.
