Do you take beta alanine with your creatine? and do you cycle your creatine?
I drink creatine powder with water before/ during workout. Then after my workout I drink my protein shake with some powder for BCAA's and glutamine etc.
Best bet (if you are trying to really body build) is to drink a pre-workout shake and a post workout shake. Also drink lots of water but wean off of it before a competition (to get rid of water weight)

Personally, most body builders i dealt with prefer to go without creatine. But if you want to know, most people take it before, and it couldnt hurt to take during the first 1/3 of your workout. Just dont drink it too fast.
