Cutting out a specific food won't accomplish anything in terms of weight loss. It's all about calories. If you cut out chocolate, are you substituting it with things that contain an equal amount or calories? No.
Weight loss is all about calories in vs. calories out. The only way that cutting out a specific food will in ANY way help with weight loss is if you have absolutely no self control around that food and binge eat it. If you don't have that problem, then cutting it out and substituting something else in its place will do absolutely nothing for weight management.

You will lose weight when you "lose" 3500 calories; therefore, if you stop eating 100g of chocolate per day, then you will have a deficit of 3500 calories in 7 days for one pound of weight loss. That is a pretty big change. 500 calories is almost a full meal of calories since you probably need around 2000 calories per day.
Yeah, but it would take a while. Supplement with a form of excercise you like to boost results. :) remember, everything in moderation.
