How fast do you lose weight?
I've only ever been on one diet before and I lost 7kg in three weeks just by cutting out the junk food I eat.
i lose and gain weight so fast.
in one week, i can lose 2-3.5kg when I'm on top of my game.
my main trick is cutting out almost all carbs and junk food. i give myself a tiny treat everyday just so that my diet doesn't backfire and i stick to fruits, veggies, protein and even dairy. people say dairy is bad for u but drinking milk and eating yoghurt never did me any harm so I'm not listening to that crap.
i also limit my calories. i keep it to about 800-1000 everyday. lots of water, a bit of juice when i feel like it. =]
Safe way is to eat 500 less calories a day so in a week you eat 3500 less calories thats a pound. So in a month you lose 4lbs. I lost about 16lbs this month Eating mostly plain oatmeal, fruit, green veggies, boiled chicken, and egg whites. Working out and running for about 1-2hrs a day 5 days a week getting ready for snowboarding. Also try drinking a glass or two of water before every meal it seems to help a lot of people out good luck. What diet you going on?
I'll probably end up eating less than that... I eat a very high calorie diet, so just changing it to eating normal amounts of healthy food will cut it back a LOT. And I'm just going to eat healthy, cut back on sugar and cut out junk food. And I'm joining the gym
Just cutting back the sugar not cutting out lol? Also you giving up soda or pop or whatever people where your from call it? I seen people lose 15 lbs just giving up pop.
Didn't quite understand the first bit? Typo? And I don't drink soft drink at all - I hate the fizzyness and I don't drink alcohol - I pretty much live on water, and red bull when I'm at uni, but I'm on holidays now so I don't drink that anymore
You said you were cutting back on sugar and I was wondering why you weren't cutting all the sugar out of ur diet. Figured you were drinking soda and couldn't give it up. Love water but damn my home made ice tea can't live without it.
Haha well fruit and yoghurt and things like that still have sugar in them - I'm also gluten intolerant - so if I cut too much out I'm not going to have anything left lol
You'll usually lose weight fast when you start - when you go to eating fewer calories than you burn, you will lose a fair bit in water weight initially (depends on how big you were to begin with). That's why you'll see people who start dieting, and lose maybe 3-5 lbs or more in the first week or two.
I don't like to lose more than a pound of actual body mass per week, in general (~500 calories deficit per day).
I'm in a healthy bmi now - and was then, am just trying to cut down a bit more and tone up. And I don't think I have any muscle to lose :( I havnt done any real exercise in years - I only just started cheerleading this year, but we only train once a week.
Haha haha ok well I don't look obese or overweight and I'm not super skinny either lol I'm just average.
Nah I'm not trying to crash diet... At least at first, I just want to get used to eating healthy for a while, And lose the sugar cravings so I dont want to eat it 24/7

Just watch when you diet and i wish you good luck:-)
i will tell what strict dieting did to me
I developed low blood sugar/ Diabetes / Fast heart beat/ High blood pressure/ Edema
Hormonal Imbalance / Body aches/ Muscle Pain / Severe abnormal mental health functioning
How i wish i had to do it over again i would of diet using my head i even abused diuretics and
laxatives.
Thanks :) that sounds awful! I'm just cutting out all the junk food I eat and doing exercise at the gym - I don't want to be really strict. I'm in a healthy bmi at the moment I just want to cut down a bit more and tone up
You're welcome :)
If you want to lose body fat then you need to eat healthy and not have tons and tons of calories eat about 3-4 small to medium healthy meals a day. Despite what some people think cardio does not actually burn fat it just speeds up the metabolic process that burns fat if your looking for healthy meals to eat I would recommend the shredded chef book it has tons of tasty and healthy meals and it the book I personally use to stay fit and healthy weight wise.
Thanks for the recommendations :) I'll check that book out as well!
I haven't lost or gained weight in a couple years.. maybe lost 2 pounds that's about it. Everyone is different, so it can take a longer or shorter time to lose weight than others.. I am no expert in losing weight or dieting , but I can say you can begin by eating more healthier, cutting out some fatty foods, & drinks, excerise often, etc.. even going for runs/walks.
When I notice I need to lose a few pounds, I just start walking everywhere and going for walks every day. It usually happens when I'm getting lazy and eating junk. Being lazy makes you put on soooo much weight. Notice, lots of people naturally lose weight in summer to, it's because they're more active and going out and about, walking etc much more during summer then winter.
Well I haven't lost large amounts of weight, just a few lbs to get into a certain weight category, but basically a few pounds a week. I'd see to have a 2000 cal deficit at least.
Pretty fast actually. I just decide and then eat way less. As long as I keep busy, it's easy. I substitute cigarettes for food lmao.
Omg!! Haha I don't know if having cigarettes is a better option lol!
Stimulant effect and cleans teeth :D
My record is 11 pounds in 4 days, and 20 pounds in two weeks.
O. O was that with exercise as well? How did you manage that?
It's so annoying, I actually lose weight really quick, It's just getting myself motivated. I guess the most I've lost is 9lbs in 3 weeks just from being healthy. I need to get back on track again aha
there was one period where i lost 80 pounds in just 6 months
Very fast. Once I didn't eat properly for 2 days and I lost 4 pounds.
I have no intention of trying to lose weight... Just when I think that I eat too much unhealthy/junk food, I try to reduce it the following days or I exercise but not much
1. It depends on one's anatomy and the way one has put on weight
2. I lost 25 kgs in about 12 weeks - the weight I'd put on specifically in 2011/12 owing to a bad lifestyle
I count calories and aim to lose 1 pound or half a kilo each week.
within few days depending on how much i need to lose
If you do it right you should lose 2 to 3 pounds a week. But I'm a fatass so what do u know about losing weight?
Not fast enough... I'll leave it at that. :P
Slow to put it on slow taking it off.
3 weeks...
