I'm thinking of buying myself an epilator, (if you don't know it's a basically hundreds of mechanical tweezers). I hate getting shots because i hate pain, but at the same time I think I'm pretty good with pain. I get bad headaches and migraines very frequently and I'm usually able to withstand for hours without taking medicine, and my doctors have also said that I have a high pain threshold. But I still find that tweezing my eyebrows hurts, but only if someone else is doing it.
What's your experience with an epilator? Does it really hurt as bad as people say? I've never gotten a wax, I usually just shave. But is a pain in the ass having to shave every day to every other day. Does the epilator cause the hair to grow back slower? And did it decrease the amount over time? Also, does it cause the skin to look like a baby's butt? I find that when I shave it never looks smooth, you can steal see where the hair was.
