i lose weight fast cause i did not eat well. i'm in a calorie deficit. it's not something i like to happen though but i'm stressed and all that so i lose weight. losing weight is primarily about calories and it's regardless of the source of the food you eat. i can eat junk foods all day and food high in sugar but i would still lose weight if i'm still in a calorie deficit hehe :).. it's unhealthy of course :))

Jk. Five months is a reasonable time frame. I would focus mostly on cutting back on starch (not ALL carbs, just starch) and refined sugars. For initial weight loss you'll want to stick to mostly cardio and tone later. That worked for me.

1. Don't look to lose weight fast, look to lose it the healthy way.
2. Most important thing is to eat right.
3. Exercise frequently.
4. Have a healthy sleep schedule.
And above all else, don't take the "starve yourself" route. That's insanely unhealthy and will actually make you fatter in the long run.
Ok, I know this is directed to the ladies but.. there are a lot of good ways that don't really require actual work out sessions or anything.
Something that I tell about everyone who wants to lose weight is: freeze.
Your body will automatically draw upon stored reserves.
