Is this normal? Medical help needed?

OK so sorry guys this a more for the girls question. So if ur squeamish, not a medical student or a doctor you might not wanna hear this. So ever since I got a period they've been heavy and seriously painful!!! like I can't get out of bed fatigue and pain only Vicodin may stop the pain along with nausea, vomiting, headache all that good stuff right? ok... moving on I get a lot of blood clots too and they're relatively big so big I feel them move out of my yeah... and usually when that happens I'm in serious doubled over pain. Today I took pain reducer so I didn't feel as much pain but I felt this enormous blood clots move so I went to the bathroom and this was the biggest one i'd ever seen it had to be about 4-5 oz about 1-2 inches across. Like how bad is this? I shouldn't go to the ER right? like im too tired to even go there...

Just make an appointment with your gyno, i knew a girl in school, close friend of my wife to be. She would bleed so badly she needed 5 tampons and still had to change them all the time. She is married to a very sucessful business man and has three childern. Until then get a heating pad and put it on your tumie. If need some assurance go to your local pharmacy and test your blood pressure

Endometriosis (most likely cause),
Fibroids
Intrauterine device (IUD) made of copper
Pelvic inflammatory disease
Premenstrual syndrome (PMS)
Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD)
Sexually transmitted infection
Stress and anxiety,
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)

Blood loss during your period shouldn't make you feel dizzy or light headed. If you are that bad go to the ER, they might want to give you a serum, that's what my friend used to get to feel better and less in pain. But you also need to see a gyno about your incredibly heavy periods.

what kind of serum? I will probably go to the doctor a little later, not at the moment because i'm so tired I won't go shut off my light and my legs hurt. thank u for your answer

I know you're tired, but do some gentle exercises. Just stretches and slow movements, yoga is great, it will really really help with the pain and cramps - I know it seems counter initiative but please do try it. Then head to the doctor and get some actual medical advice.

i will try i can't guarantee you it will get done because the pain and everything makes my heart beat fast and i get dizzy so i might have to wait it out lol

Sit still, sip water and breath deeply. Long exhales and inhales should help dizziness clear and get your heart rate down. Always a good idea to do this before doing any yoga anyways. Make sure everything is very very gentle and slow. A hot water bottle on your pelvic area will also help with soreness and cramps.

It could be just your "worst" cramp episode. This has happened to me once in three or four years :/. normally I have no cramps, or no mood swing or any bad symptoms when i'm on my period, but I had similar episode like three times in my life :/ but they were all turned out to be nothing.. a doctor prescribed me pain killer and that was it. BUT it could be something else, so I suggest you to see a doctor as soon as possible.

Then it is the problem and you need to see a doctor ASAP :/ hope you get well soon. I heard drinking green tea in regular basis, or having an almonds (almond chocolate) could help to ease the symptoms :)

You should ask help from a doctor, and have a check-up. Maybe you caught some sort of disease. Ask your mom for help too. I hope you get better soon. :(
