I'm really afraid I might die. some talk to me plsss?

I've been in the er room 5 times in the last week. They prescribed me 2x antibiotics but I read some horrifing stories about them. I been having multiple panic attacks and I feel like I could have a heart attack at any time, I'm pretty anxious and scared, which doesn't help. I don't know how to calm down, I don't have anyone to talk to. If I try to close my eyes and control my breathing, eventually I just my mind just starts racing and thinks of the worst. "What if this will give me an allergic reaction and I die? Omg I think I feel something, etc"

Blood test showed I was was infected with the Helicobacter pylori bacteria, that's why they prescribed the antibiotics.

These sound very familiar with symptoms that could very well be Panic Attacks, sweetie, which is Anxiety. You need to see your physician or A Physician for further advice and possibly be prescribed medicine which can help control these.
I do not know why they would prescribe an antibiotic for you unless you were diagnosed with some sort of Infection, you didn't say.
Make an appointment with the doctor and get a check up to check into this. If these are Physical Panic Attacks, then an antibiotic will Not help... they must have rocks in their head.

The panic attacks seem to be induced from eating food and they think it's either something serious going on in the stomach or just a bacterial infection (h pylori). Really freaks out on taking any meds, last time I took a magnesium liquid supplement, I got a full blown 100% anxiety attack, I thought I was gonna die for sure.

Okay, I see... Go see your own doctor or if you do not have one, get one and look into further for more testing.. perhaps the meds are Not agreeing with you too or is Not agreeing with you because you have something else causing them and a bad side affect to what you should not be prescribed. xx

As a health care worker, I would say trust the hospital. If they sent you home, that means you're most likely fine. Heart attacks from antibiotics mainly happen to older patients who already have problems controlling their blood pressure.

Also, I get panic attacks frequently. The thing that helps me the most is breathing deeply. It really helps my heart to stop palpitating. Also, find something to take your mind off it. Watch tv, listen to music, etc.

You'll be fine. Trust your doctors and take your antibiotics.

Take a breath... i know you have been taking them, but take a breath and calm down. Think of good things. I am not doctor, but what are they telling you? It seems that this is more of a panic attack then a health issue... but what are they saying?

Nothing has been officially diagnosed. We think it's gastrointestinal related. Acid reflux , uclers, gas things like that that are going up my esophagus and creating anxiety / attacks. We detected a bacteria and they wanna use the antibiotics to kill it but like 30% of the worlds population has that bacteria, most of them don't have any signs, this might not necessarily be it. Whatever I eat creates anxiety/acid reflux, I read that these antibiotics can create even palpitations or attacks... or even death. :( scared

You can die from a car wreck, etc. Things happen... I know you are thinking "this isn't helping" but my point is, i think you need to do the best you can to trust the docs. Doing nothing isn't going to help you and might make it worse. Perhaps once you get through this, you need to be thinking about what it takes to help you get comfortable with the thought that you will one day die. I do not look forward to death, but i don't fear it. And in my job i have faced it a few times... Hang in there my friend, just do something to keep yourself busy and focused.
