My college is very much athletically inclined, there are loads of sports people who think they're perfect.
If you started working out outside of school, how would they know? Honestly, they won't pay much attention to you. If your school has no uniform, then you could wear sports wear occasionally to make it look like you're interested in fitness? Just a pair of leggings and sporty trainers.
All in all, you shouldn't have to change who you are, your fashion or lifestyle to impress others. Even if you're a couch potato, embrace it. It's your choice and your life, don't change it to accommodate others.

I'm sure there are many that do not practice sports. Hang out with them. You should work out regardless of playing sports. No point in not being fit.
I say tryout some sports and go from there. Soccer/football? Basketball? Swimming? Track/field? How tall and how much do you weigh? And of course, if you work on something... you are bound to be better at it.
Not everyone there plays sports. The elite athletes there are just better than other school's top athletes. Just do you, boo.

Stick with "fitness" sports rather than "skill" sports if your hand-eye coordination isn't great. So do things like yoga, running, maybe dance, etc. Steer clear of tennis, basketball, etc.
