Is it possible for me to be immune to contracting ringworm from my cats?

Okay, so before anyone starts saying "I don't know," or "Why the hell are you asking us? We aren't doctors," or "Go look it up on the internet," I've already tried that. All I could find was that everyone (mammals) was susceptible to contracting it.
I'm just a little confused though, because I already know (or am pretty sure of) which cat of mine started out with the fungus infection.

I'm around Kiki (my cat's name) 24/7 and I am always cuddling with her. I've touched the infected area many times, but that was when I didn't know what it was. I never got ringworm though. My sister contracted it instead, but she is rarely around Kiki. She tends to hang out with our other two cat's more often.

She just found another fungus infected area on her body today after having found two one her a few weeks ago. I know it could be said that maybe the other two cats have the infection and not Kiki, but I am around those two cats plenty of times where I would definitely be susceptible to contracting the fungus.

How is it that my sister got it and I didn't? Any ideas? I'm really perplexed by this and both my sister and I are wondering how I have not gotten anything yet.
