Do you eat fast food?

McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, Arby's. . . do you eat fast food? Ever since I actually started caring about my weight, I don't touch the stuff. MAYBE some grilled chicken strips from Chick-fil-a, like, once a year. But I avoid those fast food chain restaurants like the plague. How about you?

I stopped about 4 years ago and it must be the best decision I ever made. I used to eat a lot of fast food and experienced a lot of stomach pain. Once it wouldn't go away for 4 days. Had to go to the hospital. Had problems going to the bathroom (sorry if that's too much info), and so on. Ever since I stopped fast food I almost never have those problems. I've never felt so good in terms of health.

I love subway it's technically fast food I go there at least 3 times a week. I also go to A@W and Mc Donald's like once a month. Never even heard of Chick-fil-a before. Ever since I started IIFYM I really watch what i'm doing with macros and foods in general. I want them abs to be shredded and I am going to get them!

@FlyingTurtle Warning some subs are extremely fattening like the pizza sub for example. Check out the nutritional guide next time you go there. Cookies are high fat and calories too. I switched to the sweet onion chicken teriyaki sub mmm

Hehe, trust me I know how to tell fattening subs from non-fattening subs. I know my way around a nutrition menu. I order turkey and black forest ham subs, usually no cheese, and specify for a very light amount of dressing.

Yes but never go to burger king, i used to when i was younger but it's bad now like soggy as hell lol and hardly any fries, we order pizzas or burger and chip deals from Tasters or we order from Master Chef Indian, i really want some chinese for a change though, my parents are usualy too tired to cook on fridays after a long week.

Soup is just stock, chicken, spring onions, regular onion and they put chinese noodles in with salt and pepper, not much to it really except they steam the chicken and by how it tastes i think they use a fat reducer on the chicken too, you can always tell the difference when they use one of those fat reducing grills because the chicken is just more tender and less dry.

I'm ashamed to say it, but yes. Regularly. Pretty much as often as possible.
My mother cooks once every blue moon. And I hate cooking, myself. Sometimes I'll make myself quick little meals, but for the most part I'd starve without fast food in my life. Plus I love it. I love that greasy heart attack on a bun.

Rather rarely... here in Belgium we like going to a "frietkot" for some French fries... you find them in many villages, generally near the church... see pics :-)

We generally put a pile (yes A PILE) of mayo on our package of French fries.
You'll understand it's something we only eat from time to time.
Otherwise high cholesterol and big belly :-(

You can start by eliminating fried foods as much as you can :) and soda. That stuff is not good for your health at all.

Oh gosh. I'd starve to death XD. I can stay away from sodas if I want to. I usually just get me a vanilla coke or two about two or at most three times a week. I could quit that if I wanted though. It's the fried food that I don't know if I can manage.

The good thing is I don't go to that shit feeding place people call McDonald's. I haven't been in years. I do go to places like KFC and Wendy's... went to Wendy's day before yesterday.

Hahaha, fried food isn't soooo bad, depending on what you fry it with. I use olive oil but there are lower fat methods. Sunflower oil and the like. You can also griddle or sauté :)

I'm the same way, I avoid getting fast food at all costs. Basically, if it had a drive-thru, then I don't go there.

Every once in a while I'll go to Chipotle, but that's totally different. They actually use good ingredients and everything is prepared fresh.

Yeah, it's pretty good! They use antibiotic-free chicken, many organic ingredients (I believe something like 80%+ of their black beans are organic, for example), and they have pledged to be completely GMO-free.

There aren't many vegan options at fast food joints. I live beside a McDonald's and my friends always want to go there, but all I can eat is fries pretty much. I usually only go in for shelter from the cold and a washroom if I'm locked out of my apartment lmao

There's also this new diet (new to me) called "if it fits your macros". However sadly, my abs are barely visable. I don't see much of a problem with fast food.

Well I was hungry yesterday while I was out running errands am stopped at McDonalds to get a small little $1 burger, yea never again. I barely ever eat fast food, but after I ate that burger I couldn't leave the bathroom. Pretty sure I had either food poisoning or my stomach just can't take fast food anymore.

So I'm cutting out fast food completely this year.

Mainly because I'm a pretty damn good cook, and I enjoy cooking (it's rather relaxing and fun IMO)... so I end up buying raw ingredients and making my own food. :)

High calorie foods, sweetie. Make sure the foods you eat are high-calorie and that way you can get away with not stuffing yourself but at least stabilize your weight.

I run and cycle a lot and I am always dancing jumping around so all those movement equate to a good days exercise which cancels out all the fat I consume from fast food

Not those places, I eat Chipotle, Pho78, and Pollo Tropical. All are decent ingredients.

Chipotle's a really cheap healthy alternative because its just rice and meat (or veggies) and beans. All grilled right there, and its usually crowded, so its freshly cooked.

Pho isn't everywhere, its a vietnamese cuisine which is rice noodles in meat broth with meat.

Pollo Tropical I guess is just big in South Florida, its like chipotle, but not as good. Wow after looking it up, about 96% pollo tropicals are in south florida, with like 3 in GA and 1-2 in South Carolina.
