Carbs are not as bad as people make it out to be. Your body needs carbs. Your brain runs on glucose.
And obviously the total number of calories matter. You can def eat carbs in the evening and still lose weight. Try carbs that release energy more slowly. Brown rice, brown pasta... Legumes actually contain a good amount of carbs and protein so they are a good choice

I suggest eating your highest carb meal for breakfast because it gives you energy throughout the day. And lowest carb for dinner. Carbs burn slow so you don't wan that sitting in your stomach all night.
just eat your complex carbs and you'll be perfectly fine ie. sweet potato, brown rice, wild rice, quinoa, white potato, etc.
the carbs you should learn to avoid are the empty carbs such as white bread, white rice, crackers, chips, all processed foods.
there are a few exceptions within moderation like wheat bread, whole grain fiber bread.
There's probably some slight benefit to eating those carbs at midday and the salad for dinner.
That said if you're eating them within an hour or so post workout, your body will process them a lot better thanks to the exercise triggered insulin release.

Carbs are the one of the main sources of nutrients that make people fat.
It's ok to have it in the evening but you need to eat them a minimum of two hour before you go to sleep.
Your body will have no chance of burning it off other wise.
If you want to lose weight carbs Is what you want to watch tbh.It is better to eat carbs in the morning or at noon, when you still need the energy and in the evening focuss on e. g. vegetables (cooked or wokked) or proteins.
It's okay... not too many... no food 4 hours before bed.
