You don't say how tall you are or how much you weigh, so it's difficult to say for sure, but I'm concerned that you are "pushing yourself to eat only once a day". That is not healthy. It's reasonable to avoid empty calories like soda, chips, and candy, but you should not restrict yourself to one meal a day. Perhaps it would help for you to find out what weight range is healthy for your height, and how many calories you need each day to stay healthy.

It sounds like you may have body dysmorphia, an eating disorder, or just a lot of general body acceptance issues. The best I can suggest is a therapist who is trained to handle these specific issues.
