Eh, you can actually be in a lot worse shape than you look and get a lean, athletic looking body in about 12 weeks. You just need dedication, commitment and to not eat rubbish.
Drink lots of water per day, up your veg intake, exercise for ~30-60 minutes a day, vary your exercises (look into 4-day splits), strip out processed foods (white bread/rice/pasta for brown/wholewheat), you can cheat now and have something sugary/tasty, but generally if you're dedicated you'll be fine.
Also don't fall into the trap of "abs mean 100% ab exercises!"; do plenty of cardio and weight training across your entire body if you want real results. Abs means low body-fat percentage; not size of abs. Otherwise, you'll just have a harder set of muscles that you still can't particularly see.

It's possible if you work really hard. That means going to the gym at least 4-5 days a week most weeks and eating more proteins and carbs (stick to complex ones). I'd stick to strength training and keep cardio to a minimum.
It's definitely possible. You're lean enough, so any muscle you build will show. So concentrate on your abs with exercises, keep it consistent and frequent, and you should have a visible sixpack by summer.

I was hurt and got overweight during recover.
When I finally recovered (last Aug) I started working to get back to my former shape.
I got rid of 22 pounds in 5 months so far.
I'm taking it lightly, healthy and steadily.
If you set your mind right, and it's important to you, I think you can achieve much.
Just stay focused.

Even though you didn't ask, I still feel like I should point it out to you. 5'2 at 87 pounds is severely underweight. If you want to get into better shape, I would focus on gaining muscle because you are definitely not overweight. Even 99 pounds is considered underweight :/

First off, you were the first one to say something about her appearance
Secondly as someone who is very underweight I know that there are several health consequences that come with it. If someone is doing something potentially dangerous, but might be unaware of it, I think I should point it out. Her current weight is fine, if slightly under. I'm just saying she shouldn't be trying to lose weight. I've known people with eating disorders, and I don't want her to have one.
Anyways my comment of "you are at a good weight and shouldn't try to lose any" isn't worse than someone saying "you're tiny." Mine is, at least, helpful. If someone is doing something potentially dangerous, especially at a younger age, I am going to notify them. If you don't like that... well, that's your problem I guess

I hate to randomly show up into a conversation but I don't think going down to 87 pounds is the cleverest thing to do. My aunt who is 21 weighs 95 pounds and is 5'9. She constantly tries to gain weight but she just gets sick from binging. Her being underweight has caused many other issues. She has fainted 4 times in the past few months and her self-esteem has deteriorated completely. In your case it may not be as severe but being underweight is just as detrimental to your health as being obese.
So just why do you feel the nead to lose 12 pounds SweetHeart? From what I can see U look fine to me !!!

Yeah, but honestly if someone likes you, as cheesy as it sounds. They will like you for your personality. You could afford to gain some fat though, if you don't like how it looks :/ A lot of girls like ripped guys. A lot of girls like lean. But it would be very easy for you to increase your BF% a bit if you wanted to :/

Alright. Doing what?
Eat healthy foods in good portions. And build an ab workout program. The one i currently do is 30 second intervals of an ab workout of your choice followed immediately by mountain climbers. For example i do Bicycles for 30 seconds then immediately flip over and do mountain climbers for 30 seconds and you do this 3 times each without rest. After you finish you rest 1-2 min then do another ab workout and follow it by mountain climbers. Do not count your reps or how many you are doing just do as many as you can before your body starts failing. I guarantee this workout will kick your ass.
I eat fairly healthy but I don't exercise. I guess I'll start exercising

Oh sorry I must've read over it :p yeah, I think it's absolutely possible for you to have abs by summer :) I think you have to do abs exercises regularly like every day for 15min or something like that. I also do stomach exercices and some general exercices at home and if you keep it up it definitely showes off :p
