I'm a hideously ugly man and I'm tired of feeling alone. I've been looking into this for a while and I've made up my mind. But I just want to make sure I can actually do it before I try. Save me the time, money, and embarrassment.

Could I just go into the doctor's office, say that my loneliness is interfering with my entire life, and actually take a step toward solving this problem?

Why not engage in some bodybuilding and improve your body and make yourself more attractive. Why just sit there throwing your hands in the air and giving up? If you're not the best looking facially you still have a shot at being the biggest, most shredded guy in the room.

I already have no woman in my life. I'm almost 23-years-old and I've never had one. The only difference would be that I wouldn't care about there not being a woman in my life.

You probably could, but by your age your only 18-24. I wouldn't do it if I were you. You probably aren't as bad looking as you think you are. Trust me I have seem people who are definitely not considered "good looking" By normal standards and still found love. Don't give up just yet. :)

Actually yes. Yes I am. Trust me, I turn heads when I'm out in public. I'm pretty... Grotesque. I usually have to wear sunglasses and a hat when I go out.

Even so, you getting the procedure done won't help. Sure if will bring your sex drive down, but you will still be lonely. What you need to do, is find the person who is the exception. Who will like you for you, and surround yourself with good friends. Otherwise your still not going to be happy.

How would castrating yourself help you with that problem? You'd still feel lonely with or without a penis. Except then you'd be confusing your brain on top of it and likely start experiencing the troubles known as "phantom limb."

You don't cut anything off. You take a drug and it reduces libido. That's it.
