I'm trying to detox my body. What are some pros and cons of caffeine?

I haven't had any alcohol in 13 days. That hasn't been a problem so far. Caffeine on the other hand is more addicting than I thought. I tried two days to not drink coffee and both days I had a massive headache. Now maybe I should not quit coffee at all. I've always thought that coffee is bad for you but I might be wrong.
So what is it? More pros than cons for caffeine.

note: I don't drink soda much so is not from lack of sugar and other stuff.
