So what is it? More pros than cons for caffeine.
note: I don't drink soda much so is not from lack of sugar and other stuff.
Reduce your caffeine intake gradually, and supplement it with herbal teas (Nettle and peppermint tea is one of my favorites, it helps clear my face!)
Coffee is definitely bad for you. It can cause dizziness, bloating, and dehydration, among other longer-term side effects that are really detrimental to your health. There are benefits for the occasional cup of coffee, but generally try to wean yourself off of it. Good on you for cutting out alcohol and working on coffee, and good luck!!

Don't drink caffeine in a detox, it is hard on your liver. To detox try drinking home made smoothies made from vegetables like spinach or any vegetables. I believe Dr. OZ. has suggestions for what to make and drink on his website.

Don't worry about coffee too much. As long as you drink it in moderation. Don't get sucked in to all the detox potions. Drink lots of water. Eat lots of good fruit and veg. Little Red meat. And try a dash of cider vinegar in hot water. That's the only detox purpose drink I'll do. And don't be afraid of a small glass of red wine a couple of times a weak but the biggest thing is plenty water.
So I remember seeing a medical study on caffeine addiction. Once you're Addi ted it was recommended to keep drinking your coffee. The body becomes so Dependant that cat scans of the brain show your neurons will fire at a reduced rate until younger your caffiene

I think your making the right choices by cutting out coffee it does nothing but
make me shake, weak, more anxious.. really i need to cut out coffee too

i drink coffee/cola/tea (all of 3 contain caffeine) and i;m ridiculously healthy... the only con is that it will make you insomniac some how, but this doesn't apply to everyone...
Try to cut down on coffee and replacing it with tea. Don't add a lot of sugar and cut down until you can drink the tea without sugar. It's a lot healthier for you but still has caffine
Caffeine is not that addicting I used to drink soda and tea all the time ever since I was 6 up until to 22 one day I just decided to not have it anymore and then boom it was only hard for about 2 months now I don't even like soda.
Caps in your brain are in shock and changing sizes. A mini withdrawal is what you experienced. Caffeine is shit. Ideally people shouldn't fuck with it.
You should continue caffeine intake because scientists say it reduces your chance of depression by 60% and diabetes by 75% (only if you drink plain black coffee)
Don't worry about that crap. Bailey's Irish Cream is good in coffee. So is Kahlua.

It's ok in moderation. Switch to one caffeinated cup and one decaf. Or slowly mix down to one cup.
All the positive effects are only on your mind; caffeine makes you believe you'll get something good.
