Im 17 and weigh 85lbs. I’ve went to the doctors and it’s very frustrating because some say is a normal healthy weight and some say its under weight. I eat like a pig, I eat all the time. I hardly exercise because I tend to lose weight easily instead of gaining. I’ve been diagnosed with depression too but I’m just very stressed about not gaining any weight. I look like a stick. And I very much hate when people tell me im really skinny because i know that i am and i try my very hardest to gain weight , i drink protein shakes , eat, i just dont want to look like a fucking stick anymore and get told i should eat a fucking sandwich. ( sorry for ranting just been really low )

well do you think you are fat? if you don't then you are not anorexic and you don't NEED to gain weight unless you are anorexic and in which case you need to see a doctor i am not going to assume you are anorexic because i am 17, 100 pounds, and have been told i am too skinny last time was by mom and i went ballistic and refused to talk to her for a week unless i needed to. And its because i find being told i am too skinny is offensive especially since i eat more than my brother and my mom has watched me eat a one pound burger in one sitting.
Sweetie, it depends how old you are. If you're 16 and over, even 15 in my opinion that's really thin. It's different if you eat and don't gain weight than opposed to trying to not eat a lot so you stay thin, I'm not trying to be mean at all. Just those all play a factor in the answer to your question.
That's very thin but based on your age bracket it could still be totally normal.

all i had to read was 85 lbs. yeah you're damn thin. im assuming its your genetics why you have trouble gaining weight. i would consult a professional nutritionist of some sort in your case, knowledge would go a long way.

Otherwise, just eat. Eat, eat, eat. Get a lot of protein and try strength training.That is underweight. Eat healthy food that has more calories. Exercise to build muscle.
You're medically considered underweight so yes too thin you gain by eating at a calorie surplus.

No. As long as your Doctor says you are healthy. I'd rather date a confident healthy woman than somebody trying to tick off marks on a for.
