Does Coconut Oil make your skin lighter or darker PLUS how do you get rid of a farmers tan/ permatan? Help?

As some of you may know, summer is coming up and I finally have the summer body i want and would love to fluant it BUT I have a bad case of a perma tan. My body is literally two different skin tones. My face is dark meanwhile the rest of my body is light. It looks so weird and i am tired of covering up my body (even when its hot) so people won't see huge difference. I tried exfoliating and everything else but nothing is working. What can I do? Also, does coconut oil lighten or darken your skin? Do lemon help with dramatic skin lightening? I seriously need some help!

coconut oil will make your skin softer, that is all
lemon acts an oxidising agent, beaching your skin and those tiny facial hair. be careful not to put more than 3 drops though.. it will burn your skin, since is it also an acid
try these (you have to be patient with these)__
1) milk + gram flour + drops of lemon
2) sandalwood paste (make the paste with milk if your skin is dry; with water if it is oily
3) coffee beans (apparently there are used as an exfoliator, but i haven't tried myslef)

I can't seem to find anything on the Internet that suggests that coconut oil lightens the skin tone. But if you are trying to find an oil or a cream to do that, just be super careful with the ingredients in it, as lots of skin care products on the market contain materials that are highly cancer causing. Just remember that skin behaves the same way a sponge does, so whatever you put on it, it ends up in your blood stream!

I have skin discoloration , went to dermatologist prescribed $100 cream made face worse, I have been using pure essential lemon oil mix with vitamin e at night and pure coconut oil for face during the day have seen big difference already and use simple products to clean my face

Wear a fancy, funky summer hat, that shields your face from direct sun. Then the result may be that face and body get the same tan. If it helps, it even gives you a sexy and beautiful look. It avoids the use of sticky oils and creams.

try some coconut oil and mix it with different oils like olive oil or something else. i usually use coconut oil for my hear so im not sure what kind of effect it has on your bidy

I also use coconut oil on my hair too and im not for sure which oils lightens your skin. I know for a fact I shouldn't apply the oil to my skin and go outside in the sun because my skin will end up getting fried :0

thats true but if i were you, i would mix it with different oils. use a very small amount of coconut oil and more olive oil. but you better can google it because your skin is important so dont experiment with it :P

Thatd what I've thought but I've had this tan for two years. It just keeps getting darker and darker.
