Will people avoid me and think i'm crazy if they find out about my mental illness?

i have bipolar type 2 and have had clinical depression from age 12 to 16 and during that time i developed some weird habits like self-harming, dermatillomania and trichotillomania and i've stopped all of them 100% but i still have scars on my body and sometimes when i get anxious they act up and i'm just wondering will no one want to be around me if they see my scars or know this about me? i didn't have any friends for a really long time because of my depression but now that i'm out of it i'm pretty desperate for human interaction.

Some people may avoid you but the people who matter won't. A lot of people go through hard times and will relate to you on some level which can actually bring you closer together. It's so amazing that you got out of you're depression etc. that's encouraging to hear for me as I have struggled with depression and self harm for a little while. Im recovering from it to but just hearing you say that you recovered gives me hope. Thank you for that!
