Girls, how to get summer tan?

I'm a 17 year old guy and need some advice. This summer I will be working outside doing yard work and would really like to take my shirt off because it will be so hot. I'm pretty white and need some sun but I don't know if this would be weird to people. So my question is when is ok to be shirtless, what should I do with the shirt once I take it off, and for how long should I leave it off for a nice tan? I don't really want to use any tanning aids...just the sun.

I lay in the the sun for 30 minutes every day and my tan is pretty good. Make sure you are out after 10 am and before 2:30 pm because that's when the UV rays are the are the strongest. Don't be in direct sun light for longer than an hour, the key is to gradually build up your tan so it looks nice and you don't burn.

Go for it, nothing wrong with doing yard work without a shirt. If you're really pale just make sure you don't get burned the first few days you're outside, build your base tan gradually and consider using low level sunscreen until your tan starts to show up.

Your a guy so take your shirt off when you want and leave it off till you want to put it back on! Beware you will get plenty of attn from girls! And I don't know it will take a few days maybe a few weeks to get a good tan

Olive oil helps tanning go faster, but you may fry yourself if you aren't careful.
