Why is my period so light this month?

my period to be honest is always super heavy and lasts for 8 days. This time it's super light, it's like its not even there. i don't know if this has anything to do about it but, i have some health problems right now. I got blood work done and i found out my red blood cells are enlarged and instead of being circles they are ovals. Does that have anything to do with it or not? should i be concerned that it is so light?

There is many reasons why you aren't getting your periods or getting them light. Health reasons or stress are big causes for this. Because of this your periods get light or don't come because it's a way for your body to say you're not ready to get pregnant now because you're not well.

mines been really light as well! i too am a virgin and I'm not on birth control. not sure why I'm just gratefull it isn't heavy and painful

Maybe you should ask an OBGYN instead of strangers on the internet who have no physical contact with you.

Either you are not eating correctly, some health problems, or just your period is changing

Are you doing a ton of exercise or eating poorly? If you are really stressing you body with exercise you period can actually cease for a while. Poor nutrition can be a cause as well. For example, women who basically starve themselves can stop having their period altogether.

There are some health conditions that cause your problem too. Thyroid issues is one. There are a few others. You should go to your gynecologist.
