Anyone has diabetes? Is it genetic?
Any ideas?
I am not, but speak for those who are diabetic. More than genetic, these days it is more of taking in tons of fructose in aerated drinks, salads, dressings, just any food stuff these days is laced with fructose. For your information - Fructose generally sold in market is Corn Syrup or Liquid Glucose - which by itself isn't as sweet as Sucrose or Cane Sugar. So, to arrive at that sweet taste manufacturers have to add more fructose to give that 'sweetness' to products.
As you very well know excess fructose daily intake causes a severe demand on pancreas to support it. What you have finally is a mess which can no longer be controlled.
Secondly most people these days are suffering from leaky gut syndrome, which adds to a person difficult to adjust with diabetes. So, cut down on any sweet food, reduce grains on your diet, eat alternate foods which give volume and essential nutrients. Good luck
Obesity, hormonal imbalances, poor diet, and genetics are all factors.
yup, genetic. I heard it can be relinquished if the next 4-5 generations upkeep and manage a healthy lifestyle.

Yeah it is genetic but it's a genetic disease that can be triggered or you can just get it by eating bad.

Diagnosed in 1988. Yes, it is genetic... and can be caused by other factors.
