Cheap and healthy non microwavable meals?

Hi :)
So, I work where there isn't a microwave! I really don't want to have to keep eating sandwiches and cold pasta because it really isn't nice to have all the time! Do you have any suggestions on something that's cheap, but also healthy that I could have for lunch?

I know what you mean.

I've tried a couple but I'm in the same boat as you. I have no microwave or fridge so when I take yogurts I have to eat them warm or throw them away.

Anyway.

Pasta (without cheese) can be nice. A simple pasta in a tomato sauce with chicken, or even a pasta in a spicy mayo sauce.
I tried different fillings - coronation chicken, tuna and cheese, tuna and cucumber, chicken, ham, cheese, peri peri sauce, mayo, salad cream, sausage.
I've tried putting those combos in wraps because it's more exciting. Left overs are nice in a wrap - eg, I make lots of spagetti bolognese meat and then I put the leftovers in wraps for lunch.

That's the best I've come up with but I'm a bit more limited than you! You could try making a nice salad the night before, or a bagel? Even a ham and cheese croissant can be nice.

Something cold like museli and yogurt could be nice? Museli at the bottom, then yogurt and topped with fruit (like strawberries and raspberries) and a squeeze of honey. Keep it in the fridge?

It depends on what you consider healthy. People don't always agree on what foods are healthy. Fruits, salads, nuts, cheese, jerky, granola.

Do you realize how cheap microwaves are? Just buy one yourself.

At my old place of work we weren't allowed microwaves or fridges. To bring your own was a breach of health and safety and would be confiscated because of lack of electrical checks and a disciplinary. We weren't provided with ones either due to food hygiene policies.

Not everyone works in a free environment...

Shrimp and Thai peanut sauce. Fry the shrimp and either dip in or cover with sauce. Costs like $15 and makes like 5 servings. Plus yum. And not high in calories. Plus shrimp are good for you.

sushi is a good one. cold foods like crab salad or potato salad. without the microwave is pretty hard aye.

Canned chicken or tuna. You can bring cereal. Fruit. Ham cheese and crackers.
