I lost 3.5 lbs of muscle when I didn't work out in 3-4 days & ate less than 1200 calories a day, & gained.5 lb of body fat. So, I lost weight, just not the type of weight I want to lose. I was advised that I might want to talk to my trainer (although I ran out of paid sessions with her) to see about adjusting my workout. But I feel the workout program I have is fair (although I hate full body) & I simply move up in weights when something gets too light.
Should I eat more protein? Should I go ahead & intensify my workout or just make sure I don't take a hiatus from the gym like I did?
