How do you beat feeling down?
You know the place.. we've all been there...
Don't beat it down or hide it, embrace it get it out in the open, it is through emotional turmoil that we create our greatest pieces. I have created some of my best work when embroiled in a emotional storm of sadness, depression, love and happiness, let the floodgates open.
Yeah the views and ratings thing is kind of hit and miss on that site, there isn't really a way to advertise your pieces unless you win a contest in which case you get an honorable mention. But you can at least always count on me to look and comment on your pieces. I hope when you get the chance you can look at mine as well, I'd love your feedback.

I chat with friends, watch a funny movie (or sad if I need to cry something out), take my dog for a walk, write songs, etc.
I don't. I just spend the whole day half-assing things and then go to bed hoping it will be gone by tomorrow.

I would first of all assess for myself which things may have caused that feeling, like recent setbacks or emotions.
Than I'd consider my options to solve them and make myself a to do list. Working on it would for sure give me a better feeling. Since it's not being in trouble that gives you a down feeling, it's being hopeless and not knowing how to get out of the black hole!

I exercise... I also feel at the point of feeling down, That I need to be stronger and be the exception. That is the time to push past negativity and adversity and prove I am stronger.

I try to bring my mood up by baking cupcakes or cleaning lol they actually help clear my mind :D
Ohh what she said, I do both of those things too. BUT cleaning has to be done to an awesome playlist lol

Honestly? the best way I've beaten it all the time is by sleeping off and waking up to another thought & strategy :)
i play 2 rounds of league and then i hit the gym for some wonderful adonis-complex feeling instead
i try to transform it into anger which i can then vent in the gym :D
I sing or listen to music or do something nice for someone, it always works :)
