How to get a nice big butt?

I already have a pretty big butt, but it is mostly fat. It really is not saggy but it could definitely be perkier. Most of my exercise comes from playing high intensity basketball for a couple hours a day (so lots of running, jumping and getting my ass low on D). I have also recently started a 30 day squatting challenge. But what I want to know is which will help me to make my butt bigger- squatting with weights or just body weight squats? ( I am up to doing 70 squats in one session in my challenge). I am trying to lose fat, but I don't want my butt to get smaller from losing weight. So I would love to hear any and all suggestions and would also love to hear about similar situations and how it worked out.
