Wrestling. I'm pretty big myself, but I've had guys that were 6'7" approaching 300 LB step to me and in a split second they were upside down grasping their solar plexus making funny noises trying to catch their breath while their friends laughed at them or rubbing the back of their skull in a dizzy haze wondering how that just happened. Getting dropped on your head on the concrete isn't fun. It's over before it starts.

If you can't keep yourself from hitting the ground with kickboxing, you're in trouble.
Going to the ground in the real world is tough.
The ground's hard, it's dirty, it's got sharp edges and jutting things that would just love to slice you open.
In the real world, you need to be able to control the fight even if you go to the ground.
So wrestling.
Both are benefitial in a streetfight, but try kickboxing first I guess, I firmly believe once you go down on the ground you already lost somewhat
Kickboxing. It has more sharp, defined moves that would be useful in a 'real' fight where the opponent has no rules.

In a real fight, wrestling is far more useful.
Though a kickboxer with solid take down defense is lethal as well.A kickboxer. Though there are some very aggressive wresting styles as well that will probably will make you do well in a fight.
Never tried kickboxing but as a kid and teen I fought with my legs. Wrestling was more for sports. I don't recall ever grappling in a fight.
