Dentist recommended water flosser to me. Is this any good?

I have this high-end-ish dentist, so I guess you can consider him part sales agent, as the villa he works in has all kinds of products on display.
He recommended me a water flosser. My questions is: how good is this thing?
(I have a brace, so it is harder for me to brush in certain areas)

I'm getting my braces fitted in two weeks and my Orthadontist told me to get a water pik, it's friggin amazing! This is the best one I can't see one doing a better job than this.

Things is, my dentist recommended me some importer that brings them to my country, so the prices are higher than the ones on the internet.

They are good but messy. But if you have permanent repairs this is a nice tool the have.

@Blondiee2014 they're awesome, I never thought I would be so excited about a flosser but they make you feel like you've just been to the dentist- every day at home!
