Sometimes my lower back hurts and it's this different, uncomfortable feeling. My periods are different from when I was 13 but I'd get stomach pain, cramps, maybe headaches. I don't recall pain in my ankles and knees from it. I think my last period had a bit of nausea but it's not always. Everybody's body is different but there are things that need to be talked about with a doctor and you have some examples of it. Go to your PCP or if you already have a gynecologist, go to them.

Very painful up unto the point that I can't move and start sweating because of the pain (pain sweats). I also go through a very strong PMS period. It starts one week prior my period starts. I change like Mr. Hyde into Dr. Jekkyl. I don't like myself at all which makes it very frustrating because you know you're normally not this terrible hateful person. And it's only due to the hormonal changes.
