Is 20 years old too young to get a medical marijuana card?

I have been having shoulder pain since high school and I'm don't really want to take painkillers (I've had a bad experience on it), my boyfriend smokes weed to help him relax and he also told me that it helps him with his back pain. So I want to try if it will help with my shoulder pain. I just want to know, is there an age limit to get a medical marijuana card? I live in Arizona by the way.

I don't think medical marijuana is for pain? I think it's primary purpose is in chemotherapy to decrease nausea and increase appetite. I could be wrong but that was what I thought. Opioids are what act to decrease pain not marijuana (based on their biochemical mechanisms).

I honestly don't know but last time I read anything about this, it was terminal cancer cases who were taking the marijuana.

I don't know, to most people it's just an excuse to get high, if you want to do it, just don't smoke it.
