I wanted to get my cartilage pierced today however the stupid bitch at the jewellery store said they use a gun to complete the process. I asked her?

Why she didn't use a steralised needle and she said "I don't use needles only piercing guns because it's safer" (she also doesn't work with titanium jewelry only surgical steel)
I said "no it shatters the cartilage, and not sterile" then she replied "that was the old gun the new one doesn't do that!"
Does anyone know if there is a new piercing gun created that doesn't damage your ear? Or is that answer complete bullshit?

If you want anything more than a second earlobe piercing (like septum, belly button, cartilage) you have to got to a piercing parlor... A lof of tattoo shops double as a tattoo parlor. Call ahead and make sure.

Don't go to a jewelry store if you want to be pierced with a hollow needle. Go to a piercing/tattoo shop, people who work at the jewelry shops usually aren't trained to hand pierce.
