Oh gosh this must be so painful! It's not because you turned 30 as your menstrual cycle is completely oblivious to your age and active life style. I would go and see a doctor, it might be as little as a infection or even a spot or an irritated piece of skin that's been cut. The doctor should run tests first and then when he's found why it's causing you so much pain he will get some antibiotics or some more tests done to find/treat the pain in the best possible way.
I hope this helps. Hope you get better soon!

Is it your first PP period? I hear the periods directly after pregnancy are horrible.
Maybe you you have a drop in estrogen because of perimenopause? Menopause usually happens near 45-50 but it can start at 30, its pretty rare, but your body is going through changes to stop producing eggs. Its pretty rare that thi sis the case though.
Go ask a doctor or a gynecologist!

Have yourself evaluated for perimenopause - do please visit a doctor with your observations who can help you
It's not the turning 30 thing that is causing it, it could be anything, go and get checked out by your doctor, you won't get a correct answer without one examining you.
Definitely go see a doctor. No one should ever have to put up with that every 4 weeks.
