It's best to eat a bit of carbs before exercising and best to eat it 1-2 hour before so I have been told by my fitness instructor. I once exercised on an empty stomach and almost fainted. I find if I have milk (eg cereal) then I need more than an hour before I exercise or I have moments where the milk comes back up a bit - yuk - but toast or fruit or even yoghurt is fine 1 hour before. Less than an hour can also cause me to feel like throwing up. But I guess it depends on the exercise - I found burpees to be the worst.

I like to eat before exercising because it gives me the energy to do the work out.
I've not eaten a thing before and have felt dizzy during my work out and weak.

I like to eat small before, for energy, and after big for recovery :)

Before and after.
Eat a banana for energy to exercise.
Then afterwards eat something again for more energy.Eat carbs 1h to half hour before-depending on amount eaten
After workout, eat proteini usually like to eat before. eating after makes me feel useless lol. but yeah I don't know i dont sit there researching everything.
After, you will get major cramps otherwise. Eat a banana or something for energy.
I usually eat an hour or so before. Something light. And then I always eat a banana when I'm done.

it's better drink mineral water then eat before exercise. and eat after an hour later.
