This is called Being "Over hungry," @mskay, and if by '6pmId start to get hungry' and an hour later, you lose the feeling, this is because you have allowed your poor tummy to rumble so that after awhile you Can... Want to throw up.
I would suggest you begin a new beguine of getting into a good nutritious not nutty way every day in Making sure you have a good breakfast, lunch and even a little snack until it's time to sit down for your Third meal of the day that would have... Completed your day in a healthy, normal way.

Just prepare a protein enriched smoothie for the afternoon. It's easy to make and drinks away quickly.
The reason why you can't eat is because your stomach has shrunken which makes consuming very difficult. It happens to me to if I've been without food for hours. Than I just force feed myself or I make a protein enriched fruit and veg shake.
If I were you I'd eat small snacks during the day
If you don't have time, a small proteine bar should be okay

Don't believe the eating disorder thing. It happens to me to when I skip a meal. What your body does is, when you don't eat or skip meals, your body is forced to burn off fat. Also, your stomach shrinks and you don't crave something as much. I would recommend taking a nap. That always helps me. Hope I helped!
Start to have a healthy diet. Eat three meals a day and in between, eat some snacks as well. I used to experience this as well, worse part was I have gastric and man, it wad horrifying. Trust me, you won't like it.
your stomach grows and shrinks and if you dont eat enough it will eventually get to the point where it can't take a lot of food. you have to eat more to make it so you're hungry more. its weird and a little uncomfortable, but you gotta be healthy :)
You have an eating disorder of some sort. It's healthy to skip meals you know, but you can't really force your body either
Maybe you're just not hungry. That's what happens to me
