Do you drink raw eggs?

Well yeah I do have been since I was 13 
i wanted to be like Rocky, and still do lol

in the film he drinks raw eggs so I imitated him
i drink on avg 2 eggs a day

my brother and mother think I am crazy and tell me I am gonna sick

i was just wondering if anyone else drinks raw eggs
or ever drank raw eggs

My boyfriend used to do it until I showed him the health dangers of drinking raw eggs or even consuming eggs in general. A lot of people think eggs are healthy, but it's actually against the law for companies to advertise their products as healthy since that would be false advertising. You'll notice that they never say "Eggs are healthy" and instead find ways around it with sayings like "Eggs are nutritionally dense" or "Eggs provide energy" and things like that. nutritionfacts.org/.../
There was also a study done showing that the consumption of only one egg per day was just as damaging as smoking 5 cigarettes a day for 15 years, because of how damaging cholesterol is to our arteries. One egg has more cholesterol than a big mac, so it makes sense. nutritionfacts.org/.../
Most people are worried about the risk of e coli in raw eggs, but that risk is actually pretty low. It's around the same as your risk of consuming contaminated raw lettuce, so drinking raw eggs is just as dangerous and eating a salad, but it doesn't mean it's in any way healthy. Just keep in mind that Rocky was filmed in the 80s when knowledge in the nutritional sciences were very limited. It was pretty much protein, protein, and protein. At least now we know that we should be more concerned about carbs (fruits and veggies) than we are about fat and protein.

No, I can't stand the smell. But lots of people here drink raw eggs. They usually mix it with milk, honey, tea and ginger 😨😨 they said it could give you extra energy.
I never ever wanna taste that drink 😵

I did when the 1st time I was on my own. I didn't want to (or know how to) make breakfast so I put a couple of raw eggs in a blender with some OJ.
I think this "will make you sick" is BS People eat eggs over easy where the yolk isn't even cooked. I also believe your body grows immune to those type of things. Just like a flu shot or vaccination. They have a little bit of the virus in them so your body develops an immunity.

Yes I have.. Right before I joined the military. For two weeks, I had around 5 raw eggs every morning for a pre-workout. After a while, I couldn't take it anymore. That feeling of egg yolk pops in your mouth is the worst. I always had a cup grape juice ready to chase that stupid after flavor.

No, but I've drank egg whites before.

That's not exactly healthy though. Even eating the 2 eggs a day wouldn't be good for you, mainly because it would drive your cholesterol up really high. And high cholesterol can lead to heart disease.
