Usually flat out trying to go bed 3-5 hours earlier than normal doesn't work. Whenever I want to set my sleep cycle back to normal, I do some exhausting exercise during the day and refrain from the urge to take a nap until I go to bed.
You could also eat something before going to bed like some turkey or chicken or have a glass of milk.
The slow way is to set an alarm on your phone for when you should start getting ready to go to bed. Shave a half hour or so for each day until you're back on track.

Plan in advance. Let's say you want to be asleep by 10:00 P. M. Make sure you aren't using electronics for about 30 Mins. The blue light stimulates your brain to where It's harder to fall asleep. Try drinking a warm beverage, before bed. You could also focus on breathing techniques as you sleep. Just nice deep inhales, and slow exhales. Hope that helps.
