How good are you at heeding the advice of your doctor?

So, you go to your regular doctor visit, and BOOM!, they drop the bomb on you: there's something you need to change in order to be healtier.

Maybe you need more exercise? Maybe you need to eat healtier? Maybe you need to lower your stress levels and engage in more relaxing, calming activities?

My question is this: hor good are you at taking your doctor's adivce and putting it into action? Are you usually successful? And you make those changes long-lasting, or do you usually revert back to your old behaviors?
