I lift 5 days a week and I lift heavy. I just took a girly HIIT class with my girlfriend because she's been nagging me for a month to try it. I walked in there thinking I was going to own everyone and I almost died squatting high reps and pulses and stuff with really sissy weights. What the hell happened?
You're unfamiliar with cardio aren't you, also Im gonna assume you dont have much muscle endurance? Also HIIT isn't girly, especially since you got slayed by low weight. Keep it and up the weight and gradually you'll be a beast that can put up heavy weight, many times without having your heart commit samurai style suicide.
