The bodybuilder?
The gymnast?
(or calisthenics guy)
The swimmer?
The Yogi?
Or others?
I was a gymnast, and that is not a gymnast build. I know it says calisthenics in parentheses, but that build is very different than a gymnast build.
A gymnast would not be that ripped in the abdomen, and they'd have a lot more abdominal muscle. A gymnast would have more pecs, lats, trapezius and neck muscles. The biceps would be different, but it's kind of hard to tell when his arms are straight - but they would probably be less elongated than this guy. A gymnast would also have larger forearms - gymnasts have to have one heck of a good grip if they don't want to lose their grip and go sailing across the gym.
Well Frank Medrano is more of an ectomorph build than the mesomorph build you're describing. He's only 160lbs at 5'9.
A small guy but power/weight ratio wise , he's up there I'll say.
Yea he's in shape for sure. I really don't understand being so cut in the abdomen though. You pretty much would have to do that intentionally just for looks. I can't think of any activity that would do that naturally.
There aren't many pure builds out there though. By that I mean a build that's strictly from one activity. Most athletes do multiple sports, work out with weights, etc. A pure gymnastics build is a really different kind of look, but you rarely see them any more. Just going by looking at them I think most modern gymnasts also work with weights. When I was in gymnastics nobody did that.
Well that's the thing tho , seeing someone big fat but deadlifting grand pianos won't draw someone into a sport but looking ripped and shredded while lifting grand pianos , now that draws people in.
It's about building an icon while still be functional mang.
That guy does look like a swimmer, but a lot of swimmers are a lot bigger than that as well.
I'd guess on average swimmers bulk up more than yogi.
Anyway, it's a bit of a fallacy that the sport is building the body, it does to some extent, but more then that, the body chooses the sport.
Gymnastics won't make you short and muscular any more than doing high jump or playing basketball will make you taller. People are selecting sports that their body is well designed for, then getting in shape from there.
That's Michael Phelps
That's a pretty weird angle of him.
This is also him:

or ryan loche:

Yeah well people have no idea how much of "physique" is a matter of lighting and creation of illusion from camera angles
This is also Ryan Loche but only at a different camera angle without the topdown lighting.

He's still pretty big there, in the core.
Ah well the core size is determined by the genetic ribcage width.
Good lats development that's advantageous to his sport tho.
You can really see his waterwings.
I used to be a gymnast and I would literally swoon when they guys would come in and train. It's amazing what they can do with their bodies and in terms of fitness, I've always found calisthenics, free-running, and gymnastics much more impressive than body building. Aesthetics-wise, I prefer to lean muscle of gymnasts. They're muscular, but not so muscular that it looks unnatural.
Hmm what about football player shaped bodies...

How about FOOTBALL PLAYER SHAPED BODIES?

Hey that's still good lol😂
*incoherent shouting
The swimmer I'd say.
The bodybuilder is a total dealbreaker.
Thanks Brian the dog ❤
No problemo Diana the Bitch 😏

How dare you? Bad dog.
Tell me something I don't know ;-3
Bitch.
PS: I can't tell if I am being too mean anymore lol
Aww doggy feels bad about being mean ❤ Adorable.

Swimmer hands down.
Not the one you posted - too skinny.

Uhh... that's Michael Phelps
No I mean the swimmer in the question ALSO IS Michael Phelps lol.
It's just a trickery of lighting.
It's not trickery of light... He was way skinnier back then.
ALL of them! except for the body builder... really? who desires that other than those who want to do it as a profession? that' is awful. Looks like a funny toy figurine.. who wants to have sex with that? D: not me!
Oh wow , going from 0-100 in under 3 seconds eh skullly?
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Anyway , well that's the point of bodybuilding these days. BIGGGGGG BIG BIG BIG
Eh , kinda... city speak ha.
Like 0-100 from
"Hello" to the "Bedroom" lol
Anyway yes... ah... okay... now this is awkward.
ohhhh! haha welllll if you're asking about physical stuffs, so... when speaking about what we like and our preference in physical aspects, it's referring to sex!! because the reason you want a person with a certain body is because you're going to eventually do intimate stuffs with them... right? don't say i'm not right because i am right.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I learned something today.
This is what a real man looks like.
s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/.../...a91b286065.jpg
This is also similar to what I look like.
I don't like any of them. They all look like they have too much time on their hands, I prefer a man who gains his muscle through hard work. Stop aligning your chakras and get out there and chop me some wood!
I like the football player body.

The "bodybuilder" you linked is an IBF pro on massive amounts of steroids. Link a normal-looking, natural bodybuilder and you'll get far different answers.
The closest to the ideal body would be that of the natural Strongman:

I like a mix between bodybuilder and gymnast. Not too much muscle, but still enough to look "round" and strong.
Bodybuilder looks damn scary, to be honest. Others look quite good
I don't understand how that bodybuilder guy can even walk?
Ever seen one of those toy soldiers walk in Toy Story 2 where their feet are glued together on a pad and they have to waddle around?
Baby oil for the thighs, a lot of baby oil lol!
The Scottish!

Out of these 4, I voted for swimmer. Like Nathan Adrian

Don't like big muscles ! A total turn off for me. I prefer slim and athletic guys, with long and slightly arched legs, narrow hips, slim waist, broad and straight shoulders, flat and toned butt.
Swimmer is too scronny. And you can still bodybuild and have a proportionate body. When they over do it, it gets to be unattractive.
I voted swimmer but I actually prefer divers. They don't get the weird massive shoulders that swimmers do.
my physique is most similar to the yogi, but i have lats lol!
trying to get like my boy big ramy though lol!
He should work on his conditioning and i think he can be top 3 at the next Mr. O
Seeing the reactions i will have a hard time in the future...
Although i bet my genetics aren't as good as #1 i am aiming for such a physique aswell >.>
Uh that's not how most of us bodybuilders actually look dude, that picture is a false stereotype.
Source: I work in a gym and see well over a hundred people a week workout/bodybuild.
Right on, Asker that is Big Ramy, a world class IFBB competitor, not a mainstream bodybuilder.
I would love to look like the gymnast, just not hairless
Mr CLEAN
