How big does a woman have to be be considered fat?

i notice that in general women feel they are fat when they are not. how big do you have to be before you are uncomfortable with your weight and do you think you are fat at the moment and why

I know fat women who are completely comfortable with themselves, but don't get even looked at twice. This is because society today is so shallow. Same for us guys.. I see most of the time these mediocre looking girls seeing out the 'Brad Pitts'.. I feel that personality is being greatly overlooked these days and it's all just social image. Who cares if your guy has a 6pack, or beer belly.. If he's a good guy, treats you well, who cares. Same for women. It's worse though for them. I dated a 5'2" 115lbs size 2, who always asked me if she looked fat in things. I often thought that it was just for compliments. But over time I did really notice that she had serious self-esteem issues from being a fat kid and teen. As long as you're healthy and the person you're with finds you attractive for more than just how you look.. It's all good.

I think it depends on how confident some girls are. For me, I don't want to get over a certain weight so I feel comfortable with my body. I don't think I'm fat but I'm not gross skinny either. It really depends on how some people want themselves to look.

some girls think just because theyhave the bulge means they are automatically fat and its really not true most of those girls are insecure and end up anorexic. but me being cuban helps with it being okay being alittle "fat"....lol

and most girls that have it love there body and hav the most confidence!

Your so right, more girls need to ignore what the media tells them of what is fat and just be happy with themselves :). I think all girls think they are bigger than they actually are. I'm glad you feel good about yourselg haha

it depends on the person, in my case, I start feeling fat, even though deep down I know I'm not and so do others, when I try on clothes to go out and feel like they're a bit too small somehow suddenly when 2days before that they were absolutely fine on me..

being considered fat will vary from person to person but I personally feel fat when my clothes no longer fit me well. Mostly if am to wear tight tops and my tummy pops out.

It varies from person to person. But for me personally, if I'm ever over 110 lbs, I'd consider myself fat. Obviously, most people wouldn't consider that overweight, but I've never been 110 so I would consider myself a bit overweight.

It doesn't matter what weight you are as long as you can carry the weight I think, nubmers on teh scale are just numbers.

To me, fat is when you're so overweight it is causing you health problems. Being a little overweight, and being obese are two different things.

I feel fat when my BMI is over 18.5. Ugh. Other girls carry weight better than I do, though.

Is that bad? lol. sorry I don't really pay attention to bmi ratings, it tells me I am on the verge of obesity, currently it palces me on the high end of overweight :)

Under 18 is considered underweight, but I CANNOT carry anything extra because I have a small frame and also an ugly face.
