Lately I've been really hungry as there isn't much food around the house. My grandma has only been making foods she and my grandpa likes and my dad buys himself something to eat everyday. Lately I've been really hungry as there's no food to eat lunch with and hardly anything to have for dinner. I've been wasting money on fast foods and I'm scared to get sick from how poor my diet has been. I would love to try a Mediterrean diet strictly for the health benefits. I'm 5"1' and weigh about 105-110 lbs. losing weight isn't my focus I just really want to be healthy. What kinds of groceries should I buy, and what recipes should I make mainly for lunch and dinner? I don't have a lot of money so I can't afford anything too expensive, also I don't know how to cook so simple yet tasty recipes would greatly be appreciated. Thanks for your ideas.
It's all about grilled chicken and fish, maybe with a simple marinade, with slow roasted vegetables done with garlic and thyme, and salads. Also things like bean stews. The med diet is healthy and keeps people alive for years!

Being from a Greek family, you'd think I'd know more about the Mediterranean diet haha... All I know is add a lot of garlic to your recipes :) And as the other guy said, lots of grilled chicken and fish.
